Join us September 15th for our upcoming virtual event featuring speaker Susie Peterson, co-manager of the Backyard Habitat Certification Program. The Urban/Suburban environmental stewardship program is jointly managed by Columbia Land Trust and Portland Audubon.
Susie is passionate about helping community members create outdoors spaces that contribute to a healthy environment and promotes biodiversity. Before joining Columbia Land Trust she worked at Friends of Trees organizing community planting events. She’s a certified arborist and is passionate about connecting people to nature and creating wildlife habitat throughout the region.
During the presentation we will cover what the program does, how it works, what participants can expect, and how to get involved. We can’t wait to see you there!
